You may occasionally find that after a job has been completed, there are still parts left in various statuses, this could be due to the fact that an engineer installed the parts on the job but forgot to mark them as such, parts may also just end up being unnecessary to complete the job. In cases like these, you may find it inconvenient to individually mark each part as installed or cancelled.
In order to do this, go to 'Reporting'. From here, use the menu (the three lines icon on the left), choose the 'Parts' section and click 'Incomplete parts on completed/closed jobs'.
This will bring up a report that will allow you to cancel or install the parts associated with your job in the statuses they may be in - Requested, On order, or Available (where you can only 'Mass install'). The options will be presented to 'Mass cancel', or 'Mass install' your parts, however, if you wish to do them individually then you can simply use the checkboxes next to them to select your individual parts.
Once you've clicked the option for the action you'd like to carry out, you will be asked to confirm your decision by typing 'update' or 'confirm' into the window that appears. After this, your parts will be cancelled or installed as per your instruction.
