- Your stock locations are anywhere that stock will be stored prior to being used on your jobs.
- You can set up generic or personalised locations for individuals or on a company level.
- To access the page where you can create your 'Stock locations', go to your 'System settings', scroll down to the 'Stock Control' section and click 'Stock locations'.
You can create individual stock locations for your various engineers in order to ensure you know what each of them has and needs in stock for the jobs they will be carrying out.
You can also have your own 'stock room' set up as a default location. This can be any room, warehouse, or storage facility where your goods will be stored when not with an engineer.
How to use: Stock locations
You can edit these locations (with the option on the right) or delete them if need be. In order to access the existing stock locations, simply search for them by name in the search bar and you will be taken to the stock location's page.
The Stock location tab itself will show you any details, any parts reorder lists as well as a list of all current stock (which can be filtered by part name or part number).
You can also access the History tab which is an audit for every transaction that had taken place at this stock location and the reserve list tab (above), which shows any parts from this location that are requested on a job. You can manually adjust your stock through 'Quick links'.
