If you need to switch your accounting integration from one package to another, please read all information carefully and follow the instructions that best fit your scenario.
Before you action anything, please contact support@commusoft.co.uk and ask for support with this.
'Package 1' refers to the accounting package you're moving from.
'Package 2' refers to the accounting package you are switching to.
Scenario 1 - Package 1 and Commusoft are financially identical:
Set up an account with Package 2 - do not add any customer or financial data to Package 2
Delete the integration with Package 1 by going to your company settings > Accounting interface > Quick links > Delete > then follow the instructions provided.
Edit the nominal accounts in Commusoft to match Package 2 (Find links for this below)
Important: When you go through the steps to set up the integration below. You must select that you are integrating with a new account. You must also select that you do not want to take customer data from Package 2 into Commusoft. All customers will be sent to Package 2 and financial records based on your cut off date will be sent to package 2. Select that you want to send data manually.
Set up the integration with Package 2 (Find links for this below)
Scenario 2 - You already have data in Package 2:
Delete the integration with Package 1 by going to your company settings > Accounting interface > Quick links > Delete > then follow the instructions provided.
Edit the nominal accounts in Commusoft to match Package 2.
Important: When you go through the steps to set up the integration below. You must select that you are integrating with a new account. You must also select that you do not want to take customer data from Package 2 into Commusoft. Financial records based on your cut off date will be sent to package 2. Select that you want to send data manually.
Set up the integration with Package 2 (Find links for this below).
Then link the customers to Package 2 (Find links for this below).
