You can set a job as free of charge if you do not want to invoice it. This may mean the job was an admin error, a recall, or a complimentary.
You can set the free of charge reasons in system settings, click here to learn how to do this
Please note, the job must be completed before you can mark it as free of charge.
Use the search bar to find the customer/work address with the job you want to mark as free of charge. You will then see a list of customers/work addresses that are related to your search. Click on the name of the customer/work address to open their account.
Within the ongoing work section click 'View' next to the job you want to mark as free of charge.
You will see a yellow box at the top of the screen, click 'Free of charge job'. Or you can open up 'Quick links' in the top right corner then click 'Free of charge job'.
You can use the dropdown to select the free of charge reason (these are set in system settings) and you can add a note to explain this reason. Click 'Save'.
