Searching within Commusoft

You will see, at the top of your screen, a small white search bar. Clicking into it will expand it further. This search bar can be used to locate anything, from customers to storage locations or parts that you've got saved within Commusoft.

Please note

The only 'special characters' recognized by the search are '#' and '/'. Other characters such as dashes or colons will not return results.

Search customer, postcode, order number or invoice

1. When you click on this box it will expand. Alternatively, you can just press the 's' key on your keyboard to activate the search facility.

2. You can now search for any of the items on the list at the bottom of this article. You can also filter the results of your search by using the list on the left. All data related to your search will appear, so the more detailed your search is, the more relevant your results will be.

3. When searching for items that bring up a lot of results you can include the filters within the search to help narrow it down.

Here is a list of the other filters for your convenience, please be aware it is case sensitive:

The one for customers is properties: then the name you wish to search for, e.g properties:smith.
