Creditor days are the number of days in which your customers have to pay their invoices. You can establish how many days this is at any time in Commusoft. In order to organise this, open your system settings and open 'Creditor days' from the 'Customer information' section.
You will see a form on the left-hand side and a list of existing creditor days on the right-hand side. You can add your new creditor day on the left and it will appear on the right when you click 'Add creditor day'.
You can simply click, drag, and drop the creditor days to reorder them. If you want to move a creditor day from page 2 to the top of the list, then change the number of creditor days showing per page to 10 or more (depending on how many creditor days you have).
Click 'Edit' next to a creditor day that you wish to change. You will see a page where you can edit the information with space to change the creditor day. Change this information as required and click 'Save creditor day'. You can also delete them from the same place. The 'Default' button makes each customer default to the number of days you choose.
To change specific customers' creditor days click into the 'Advanced options' then 'View customers'.
You will see a list of your existing customers. Click 'Edit' next to a customer to change their creditor day. Use the dropdown box to make your selection and click 'Save'.
You can choose on an invoice-to-invoice level whether or not you'd like to change the due date created by your established creditor days. On the invoice page as you are creating it, use the 'Payment due on' field to change the date for the specific invoice.
(Please note - the functionality to change the payment due date on specific invoices is not compatible with Sage50.)
