Opportunity views

Opportunity view settings allow you to customise how you view opportunities, including applying filter options and sharing access with others. These settings help you manage the display of opportunities based on specific criteria, making it easier to sort, track, and collaborate on them.

View Setting

➡️ Profile icon > Settings > Opportunities > Opportunity views > View

Add new opportunity view

➡️ Add new opportunity view > Compelete the setup > Save

Creating your Opportunity view template is a step-by-step process shown on the left side of your screen. A progress bar tracks your progress. Start with Step 1 and click "Continue" to save and move forward, or "Back" to review previous steps. You must complete each step in order, filling in all required fields to proceed.

Step 1: Basic details

View Name*: Will be displayed on the Opportunity tab. Must be unique.

View icon*:Will be shown on the Opportunity tab

  • Select icon: Choose a stock icon.
  • Uploaded icon: Choose your own icon.
    • Supported types: .ico, .png, and .svg files.
    • Maximum file size 250KB.
    • Dimensions 30x30 pixels

Step 2: Share with

Shared with: 

  • Users: Select by email or username
  • Roles: Select by user role level
  • Everyone: All users

Who has access: 

  • Access: you have the option to choose View or View & edit access. 
    • "Can View": Shared with users cannot edit filters in the Opportunity tab, view only.
    • "Can view & edit": Shared with users can view and edit the filters in the Opportunity tab.

Step 3: Filters

You can set predefined filters so that Opportunities only display if they meet specific conditions.

Based on the chosen conditions, relevant sub-filters will appear for further configuration.

Example: If you select the condition "Has proposal":

  • One sub-filter will appear.
  • You can select either "Yes" to display opportunities that include a proposal or "No" to show those without a proposal.

Add More Conditions:

  • You must have at least one condition.
  • You can add up to a maximum of 13 conditions per filter.
  • Ensure that all necessary sub-filters for each condition are completed.

Save the Filter:

  • Once all conditions and sub-filters are configured to suit your business needs, the "Save" button will be enabled.
  • Click "Save" to apply the filter.

Delete: Delete the condition if no longer required or added in error. 

Save Opportunity view

Once all steps are complete click Submit to Save your Opportunity view, this can then be utilised in the Opportunity tab.

Edit Opportunity view

➡️ Edit opportunity view > Make ammendments > Save

Delete Opportunity view

➡️ Delete opportunity view > Type "Delete" > Delete
