Mobile app users can log their shifts, including breaks, using the timecard widget on the app home screen. These entries are displayed in weekly timesheets through a report for office users to review and approve. This can help to ensure accurate payroll, facilitate project management, and support performance analysis, ultimately ensuring efficient time management across your staff.
If the timecard widget is not showing on the home screen, check that mobile timecards are enabled in the Enable timesheets setting.
Mobile app users can log their shift start, break times and shift directly in the app with the timecard widget. Giving them full control over submitting their timesheets and the ability to check the status of the timesheets for visibility.

▶️ How to use clock in/breaks/clock out on timecard widget
To log the location of the device when the timecard is actioned, the device needs to have location services enabled. The accuracy of the location is determined by the device directly.
The timecard widget requires an internet connection to update an action. If the device has no signal at the time, the user can wait until they can connect to either mobile data or WiFi and amend the time before they submit.
If the user does not clock out for the day, they must manually amend the time and clock out before they can clock in for the current day.
Once the mobile user has logged their timecards, the Timesheet approval report will display them in weekly timesheets where they can be reviewed, adjusted if required and approved by office users.
Office users can also review the Daily timecard detail report for an in-depth breakdown per logged shift and the Summary timesheet detail report for an in-depth breakdown of the whole week's timesheet.
