You can add a landlord to one of your customers' work addresses easily.
- Locate the customer profile you would like to add a landlord to by searching for it or using the 'Customers' tab.
- Once you've opened the profile, go to the 'Work addresses' tab.
- You can add a new work address or edit an existing one. Either way, on the following page, you'll be able to select a landlord from your existing ones or create a new one by using the 'Add new landlord' button.
What is this used for?
You can add a landlord in order to keep records of all parties that are involved and can be invoiced or contacted where appropriate. This could mean that you could have a lettings agent, that owns a number of properties managed by individual landlords.
What happens if I forget to add the landlord?
The instructions above are for when you create a new work address, however, this can be completed on an existing work address too. To do this, open the work address, click Edit, then Add the landlord in the top section and re-save.
