Purpose: When sending an email to your technician through Commusoft, instead of typing out an email message each time Commusoft allows you to set up a default message. The estimate sheet default email is sent to a technician once he or she has been booked in for an estimate.
- Go to profile button > settings > use search functionality or navigate via the left-handed 'Categories' area > Engineer survey email template. From here you set up the subject, and body of the email using the ‘Use tagging’ box. Once you are finished, hit ‘Save’.
Sending the email to a technician
- To send the email to a technician, schedule a technician into an estimate as you normally do, when you get to the notifications area, tap the checkbox for ‘Notify technician about visit’ and if you wish, edit the email that’s appeared after. You’ll notice the tags you used earlier have populated. They will receive the information via the tags, as well as a PDF with the customer's information for them.
