You can take payments through your online payment portal by editing your estimate email message. This allows customers to view and accept estimates online and make payments through integrated systems like Stripe for initial invoices.
View Setting
➡️ Go to Profile Button > Settings > Estimates > Estimate email template > View
Include Payment Portal Link
- Edit your estimate email message in the Estimates section.
- To include a link to your payment portal, click Use Tagging and select estimate_portal_url.
- This will add a link for the customer to view the estimate online and accept it quickly.
Payment Integration
- If you have a credit card integration (e.g., Stripe) set up with Commusoft, and there is an initial invoice within the estimate, the customer will receive a payment screen where they can make their payment.
Notifications
- You will receive a notification in Commusoft when the customer accepts the estimate.
- You will receive another notification when the payment has been made.
