You can add an SMS message to be sent to the customer when the engineer is on their way to the property. This helps keep your customers alerted and in the loop so they can make sure they're in when the engineer arrives.
- In order to set up or edit this message, first, go to your system settings. Scroll down and select the 'Job mobile engineer SMS' setting from the 'Mobile settings' section.
- You will see a box where you can enter your message. Click 'Open tagging' when you want to enter data such as job date, address etc. You can insert these tags into the message in the appropriate place(s). When you are happy with the message, click 'Save'.
- Click into 'Use tagging' in order to use any one of the available auto-fill tags. These tags, such as 'Customer name', will automatically be populated with the relevant message when the SMS is sent to your customers.
