Estimate templates

This setting was previously called: Configuring estimate templates

Purpose:
Being able to set configurable estimate templates allows you to do a variety of workflows on the fly. You can specify estimates for workflows, use tagging to make sure you have concise information, and after saving an estimate template, you can use it for creating or editing estimates across Commusoft.

Tagging: The system uses tagging to help add information and helps reduce administrative work by creating easy to send out the documentation to your customers.

  1. Go to the profile button > settings > use search functionality or navigate via the left-handed 'Categories' area > Estimate templates.

  2. You will see a form on the left-hand side and a list of existing templates on the right-hand side.  You can add your new estimate template on the left and it will appear in the list on the right when you click save.

  3. From this section, on the left, you can also click the checkbox that allows your estimates to be labelled as 'Quotes' within the system instead:

  4. Once you have titled your template, chosen the assigned colour and decided between 'Quotes' and 'Estimates, then click 'Configure estimate template'.

  5. This will allow you to enter your estimate text. You can use the tagging to personalise the text, or you can use tagging to tailor the text to the specific estimate you are carrying out.
