Purpose: This allows you to set a name for your company when messaging your customers via SMS. Allows customers to set a name for their company when messaging out of the system via SMS. This setting sets the SMS name seen when using text communications out of Commusoft. We would recommend abbreviating if you are unable to fit your full company name.
Please Note:
The service provider has established the following rules based on the SMS protocol, which cannot be changed:
- A character limit of only 11.
- Alphanumeric characters are permitted, while special characters are not allowed.
SMS name
- Go to profile button > settings > use search functionality or navigate via the left-handed 'Categories' area > SMS name.
- Enter the name that you want to represent your company. Then hit save.
Edit SMS name
- Amend the SMS name > Save.
