Please read all information carefully. You cannot import the same spreadsheet twice if it was successful - you may want to do this if you forgot to add a column. Please make sure you have the spreadsheet completed and ready to import.
If you want to bulk import work addresses you can do this by using a CSV with a few simple steps. To create a CSV file you need to export a list (from excel or your accounting package) in a comma-separated file format (CSV).
You may need to clean your data before you import it into Commusoft. Learn how to do that here.
In order to import work addresses to a customer, first, search for the customer you'd like to upload work addresses to (using the search bar). Once you've opened their profile, click into 'Quick links' and select 'Bulk upload work addresses'.
This will take you to the 'Import work addresses' page. There are a number of steps listed here to help you when uploading your spreadsheet, as well as a checkbox to let the system know if you have included a title row of your own to avoid confusion.
The import can take a few minutes depending on how much data you are importing. You can continue to use Commusoft while the import runs in the background and you will receive a notification once the upload is complete.
The import supports up to 5000 records at a time. You may need to split your spreadsheet into chunks to import successfully.
