Please read all information carefully. You cannot import the same spreadsheet twice if it was successful - you may want to do this if you forgot to add a column. Please make sure you have the spreadsheet completed and ready to import.
If you want to bulk import work addresses you need to use a CSV, which can be created by exporting a list (from excel or your accounting package) in a comma-separated file format.
You may need to clean your data before you import it into Commusoft. Learn how to do that here.
- First, search for the customer you'd like to upload work addresses to (using the search bar).
- Once you've opened their profile, click into 'Quick links' and select 'Bulk upload work addresses'.
- This will take you to the 'Import work addresses' page. There are a number of steps listed here to help you when uploading your spreadsheet, as well as a checkbox to let the system know if you have included a title row of your own to avoid confusion.
The import can take a few minutes depending on how much data you are importing. You can continue to use Commusoft while the import runs in the background and you will receive a notification once the upload is complete.
The import supports up to 5000 records at a time. You may need to split your spreadsheet into chunks to import successfully.
